Our first event for WorldBusk 2013 kicked off yesterday at Literati bookshop, Calangute. There was a string quartet, the Kala Academy choir, solo musicians with guitars, a djembe, and bongos; and a group of young musicians (who also play in the Camerata Child’s Play) who performed the theme from ‘Skyfall’. What a fun evening and it went on later than planned as the music flowed and the audience joined in.
Many thanks to Diviya Kapur for hosting us once again. Thanks also to everybody who joined in – audience and performers. We hope you had a great time and see you again next year.
Photos from the event are here. If you add photos of the event to Facebook or Twitter, please tag us (@childsplayindia) so we know.
And if you are in Panjim today, join us for our second WorldBusk event tonight at Caritas, Panjim (near Don Bosco School) where the programme includes a concert by Camerata Child’s Play, and also Myra Shroff and her Fun Group. Some of our children from Child’s Play will also be performing.
