We at Child’s Play (India) Foundation have begun a new recorder project at Mitsuko Trust. Around 10-12 children from Children Walking Tall make the trip every week from Mapusa, either by bus or in a minivan, to take recorder lessons from Susan Badyari, who has been with us since last year.

We began on my birthday, so I’m unlikely to forget the start date of this project in a hurry. I sneaked out of my own birthday lunch to set up the project. Made the day extra-special!

There is a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. We hope to use that energy usefully!
