The children of Child’s Play were delighted to be invited to perform at Goa’s first Children’s Book Fest organised by Bookworm. On Sunday December 16, a gaggle of kids piled into our cars and came to the Panjim Municipal Garden, which was the venue for the Fest. There, amidst the colourful bunting, the gaily decorated bandstand and the hubbub of the audience, the recorder girls performed their repertoire which now includes Christmas Carols!
Three of our recorder girls have moved on to transverse flute as well.
Two of our senior violin students then took the stage.
We were also delighted to have Stuart Potter (bassoon) and Akihide Noguchi (clarinet) perform for us.
